Workiva is honoured to be recognised by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For®. We join many of our customers in this prestigious group, and we are grateful to be listed alongside some of the most successful and forward-thinking companies in the world.

Workiva is based on core principles of respect, fairness and compassion, and we value all backgrounds, beliefs and interests. In just 11 years, we’ve grown to more than 1,300 employees in 15 offices, and our customers include more than 75% of Fortune 500® companies.*

We are successful because we put our employees first, listen to their voices and respond to their needs. This extra level of care gets passed on to our customers every day, which leads to our 95% customer satisfaction score.

We place a high priority on employee engagement—through one-on-one meetings, video conferences and digital chat rooms—to keep our teams constantly connected and focused on achieving our business goals and objectives.

Our Wdesk cloud platform helps thousands of organisations modernise the way they manage and report business data. Wdesk is the only platform that provides data assurance and connected reporting throughout the entire financial reporting process— from collecting transactional data to submitting final reports.

We’re building software solutions that have never existed before. To maintain this high level of innovation, we give our employees the freedom and resources they need—backed by our culture of collaboration and diverse thought—to keep breaking new ground.

Employees also have adaptable work hours. Sometimes, real life happens between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, so our employees have the flexibility to attend their children's afternoon school plays, care for an ailing parent, plant trees in local parks or collect food for shelters.

We made Fortune’s Best 100 list because of the culture our employees create every day and the way we treat each other and our customers. Our culture is branded with the tagline "My voice. My company." and is used throughout our company to encourage feedback from all employees at every level.

Workiva encourages people to truly support each other at work. Employees submit Kudos messages on our intranet and in weekly newsletters when someone has gone above and beyond (which is fairly often at Workiva). Employees can also donate paid time off to each other in times of need and use paid time off to volunteer for each others’ causes.

I want to thank our employees, customers, partners and friends who make Workiva an amazing place to work each and every day.

*Since this blog was issued, Workiva was also ranked on the 2019 Training Top 125 Organisations list released annually by Training Magazine. The complete list of Top 125 Organisations can be found online at trainingmag.com.
